St. Vincent de Paul Society
The St. James Conference of the St. Vincent de Paul Society provides emergency help to individuals and families, especially food from the parish pantry, and through the J.O.I.N. office of the Diocese helps with other emergencies. This work is accomplished by parish members with the material and financial aid of the parish. Members are needed to help with the pantry and for other important work. If you are interested, leave your name and number at the parish office and you will be contacted.
The Funeral Ministry is a volunteer group of parishioners who furnish an after funeral gathering and lunch in the Rectory Meeting Room. Volunteers are asked to provide a dish for a meal on a rotating basis. For information, call Margie Vogel at 614 882-5209.
This group assists our Senior Citizens who are in need of rides to the doctor’s office, to the store, to church, or other important places. For assistance call the Rectory at 614 262-1179 or Nahama Horn at 261-8683. The Helping Hands group also needs drivers to fulfill the needs of our Seniors.
