Friendship Luncheon

The Friendship Club Luncheon is a gathering of the senior members of our community.  We meet once a month during the school year for a luncheon in the school cafeteria.  The cost of the meal is $5.00.  Following the luncheon, we play Bingo and Euchre.  We give away door prizes, Bingo & Euchre prizes and raffle prizes!  Each month our lunch has a theme and a color scheme.  Anyone 55 or older in our parish, neighboring parishes and in the neighborhood is invited to attend.  We have lots of fun and hope all of you seniors will join us.

We can also use some volunteers to help out with our luncheons.  Volunteers help with set-up, clean-up and clearing tables.  The also take the money at the door.   Students from our St. James the Less School serve the luncheon.  The workers assist in the drawing of the prizes and with the Bingo game.  It is not a lot of hard work but it is a lot of fun and much camaraderie.
